OVER 2000 YEARS AGO, A SECRET BAND OF JEDI BROKE AWAY and became rebels, using the force to fight against the Jedi.  They practiced a new use of the force, the dark side of the force.  There were thousands of these rebels, and they called themself the sith.  There were certain lords in the sith reign and then there were knights.  These lords were called Dark Lords of the Sith and were given the title Darth.  The Dark Side is not as powerful as the light, but it is hard to see, which presents a challenge to the Jedi.

During the reign of the Sith, there were many knights.  Some of them went by the names Crado and Sylvar, but the greatest of them all was Exar Kun.  He was once a Jedi but secret spirits turned him into a Sith.  Kun was destroyed after many thousands of years by Luke Skywalker and his Jedi padawans.

But after one thousand years of this great reign, just a thousand years prior to the Star Wars movies, there was a great war, known as the Sith war.  The Sith all wanted to be Dark lords so they fought it out and killed each other.  Only few remained.  Those few were either killed by Jedi or went into a sort of hybernation.  Some commited suicide, but only 2 survived.  They were Exar Kun and Darth Bane.  Darth Bane secretly found a new Jedi rebel and began teaching him the Dark Side of the Force.  But he had created a new order in the Sith.  Now there was only to be two Sith at a time: a master and an apprentice.  When the master died, the apprentice became the former and a new became the latter. But after the Sith war, the Jedi was unaware any Sith remained, and thinking the Sith were all extinct, the Jedi flourished and took head on Coruscant.

Darth Bane taught Darth Lucidis who taught Darth Nevenio.  Here, Exar Kun learned of this new rule and destroyed Darth Nevenio, leaving Darth Lucidis little time to train a new apprentice.  But he did, with help from new friend Exar Kun.  After his apprentice was fully trained, though, Lucidis tricked Kun and captured his spirt for one thousand years.  So the Sith continued this way for almost a thousand years, being only Lords and no knights.

Eventually it came to a man named Darth Vengeance.  Vengeance was in secret, for he had been made invincible by old Sith spirits, and would live forever.  Vengeance trained a man named Palpatine as a Sith, giving him the name Darth Sidious.  He was trained for a long time, until Vengeance came aware of Anakin Skywalker.  Vengeance told his apprentice that he would go into hiding, and that Sidious is to secretly make sure that Skywalker followed his destiny and brought balance to the force.  Vengeance told Sidious that he was to die, and he disappeared.

Palpatine knew that Qui-Gon Jinn, a Jedi, was soon to find young Anakin Skywalker and begin training him to become a Jedi.  So Sidious began teaching an apprentice known as Darth Maul.  But Maul was just a pawn.  Sidious knew that if Qui-Gon taught Anakin that he might become a Jedi, and he needed to seduce Anakin before he was complete in the force.  So Sidious trained Maul to find and kill Qui-Gon, but not to kill Obi-Wan, because if Obi-Wan trained him, as he was thick-headed and not ready, Anakin would have difficulties in his training.

So Sidious set everything up.  He convinced Nute Gunray and Rune Haako of the Trade Federation to boycott the Naboo’s trade routes in secret.  He would also use his republic identity of Palpatine to be elected the Senator of Naboo, just incase.  This would call on the Jedi to come to Naboo to engage in negotiation, and that is where Sidious’ apprentice will be waiting.  There, hopefully with Anakin, Qui-Gon would to be killed by Darth Maul.  Then Maul would set Obi-Wan up for a death that would make Kenobi look courageous.  Maul sacrificed himself, convincing Yoda to make Obi-Wan a Jedi.

But on the first trip to Naboo, they all got away, but it was all good enough because they would intercept young Anakin on the way.  But Amidala, ruler of the Naboo, was coming to the Republic Senate on Coruscant to end the dispute, and Sidious couldn’t let this happen.  Luckily, he had his second identity.  Sidious removed his hood and robe and became Senator Palpatine once again.

As Senator, he convinced Amidala to set him up so he could become Supreme Chancellor, the highest position in the Republic.  Sure enough, he got a sympathy vote because of Naboo and succeeded Supreme Chancellor Valorum to become the new Supreme Chancellor.  Now everything was working.  Maul had killed Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan had been made look great, and Yoda had allowed Obi-Wan to train Anakin, and best of all, Palpatine was in charge of the entire galaxy.

Anakin was trained as a Jedi, while also engaging in a romantic relationship with Padme Naberrie Amidala.  Sidious was now slowly exposing the Dark Side of the Force to young Anakin.  Skywalker became reckless.  He became fearful of Obi-Wan, and it turned to anger.  Anakin began to even hate Obi-Wan and the Jedi, so he attacked him.  But Obi-Wan was stronger.  Kenobi, after a long battle, threw Anakin into a pool of lava, burning him.  Sidious, otherwise known as Palpatine, then saved Anakin, by putting him in a mechanical suit, replacing all missing skin and bone as machine.  Anakin became half machine half man Darth Vader.  Now that Sidious had his powerful apprentice, he exposed his secret identity, and as Supreme Chancellor took over the republic, and the universe.  Palpatine named himself Emperor.

Vader and Palpatine turned Coruscant into a slave world.  They recruited thousand of volunteers who became pilots, stormtroopers, and imperial officers in the new alliance, the galactic empire.  The empire had thousands of slaves and thousands of loyalties.  But as the empire took over Coruscant, Senator Mon Mothma retreated, as well as many others.  The republic had been destroyed.  But many of the outlanders joined up and started the New Republic, the Rebel Alliance.  They joined forces with whatever Jedi they could ifnd and secretly fought against the Imperials throughout the galaxy.

It was Vaders job to destroy all Jedi.  He is the chosen the one, the one who will bring balance to the force.  But little do the people know, that there are 2 Sith, and over a hundred Jedi, so what side needs to be balanced?  Vader did so, except for Yoda, Plo Koon, and Obi-Wan.  Yoda went into exile on Dagobah, never to be discovered by the Empire or the Sith ever again.  Plo Koon went into hiding on Malestare. Obi-Wan Kenobi, though, was aware that Amidala was pregnant.  When the twins Luke and Leia were born, Obi-Wan saw to it that Leia be adopted by Bail Organa and raised on Alderran.  He took Luke to his own brother on Tatooine, Owen “Kenobi” Lars.  Owen and Beru agreed to raise Luke on Tatooine, and Obi-Wan went into hiding, changing his name to Ben, and living in the far outskirts of the Tatooine Jundland Wastes.  Obi-Wan looked in to Luke from time to time, knowing he was the only hope for the galaxy, trying to turn him into a Jedi.  But Owen said he had taught Luke to well here, and he didn’t want him to turn out like his father.

So time went on, and Vader soon learned of his children.  Vader sought out Leia and captured her.  The Emperor wanted her to be trained.  But when Grand Moff Tarkin ordered her dead, there wasn’t much he could do.  However, Leia wasn’t much of an adventurer, more of a bureaucrat, so the Emperor allowed for Leia to be killed.  But Vader, out of sympathy, allowed her to make contact with someone, allowing her a chance to be saved.

The fate ended up her brothers hands, Luke saw his adoptive parents killed, and travelled with Obi-Wan to where Leia was.  It was said to be an accident, but Obi-Wan knew it was fate.  Obi-Wan was engaged in a battle with Vader, yet when he knew there was no escape for him and his friends, he allowed Vader to strike him down.  Luke and Leia escaped and rejoined the New Republic.  Many battles were fought between the republic and the empire, but eventually the republic destroyed the majority of their enemy.

But during those battles another was going on.  Vader and his son, now aware of everything, had many duels of fate.  It ended with Palpatine using his evil Sith powers to destroy Luke.  But the little part of Anakin Skywalker inside of Vader yelling “yippee!” got out, and was in the end Vader who threw Palpatine to his demise.  Vader, in his last moments, removed his helmet and said goodbye to Luke.

Luke and Leia were trained in the Jedi, as well as Leia and Han Solo’s three children.  Luke even started his own Jedi academy.  The New Republic took over Coruscant again and brought justice to the galaxy.  A few Imperials still remained.  Admiral Daala, Grand Admiral Thrawn, and of course Exar Kun.  But they were all destroyed.  Luke Skywalker, in spirit, and his trainees even destroyed Exar by catching him in a vulnerable point.  But basically, there was no one left.

When Plo Koon learned of this, he took off from Malestare, bringing along Yaddle’s, another Jedi, daughter, Yova.  But their ship never made it to Lukes new academy on Coruscant.  Interested in what happened, Wedge Antilles and some other Jedi sent out, looking for the masters.  But they, too, never returned.  It was time now for Luke to find out what was happening.  He could sense a disturbance in the force, and so he went out, yet he never found a thing.  When he returned, remarkably, the Senate had created a new law.

In the early times, it was rebel Jedi who became Sith, who started the Empire, who destroyed the galaxy.  And so to prevent that from happening the New Republic passed a law in which no one in the whole universe could practice, speak of, or use anything associated with the Jedi ways and the force.  Luke sought out his Jedi spirits to help him, but he couldn’t do anything.  Luke then used his spare time to locate his mother.  But he soon found out that she, along with his grandmother Shmi had disappeared also.  Luke didn’t know what to do.

But there was an incident.  An incident that convinced the Republic to reinstate the force.  An evil presence had begun killing ambassadors from Kashyyk, and wookiees were being slaughtered.  Luke and two others, of his choice, were allowed to seek out this man and destroy him.  Luke Skywalker, Jacen Solo, and Jaina Solo, headed out to find this new enemy.  After saying goddbye to their mothers, Jacen with his blue and Jaina with her purple lightsaber, went with Uncle Luke to the planet of Naboo.

Naboo was where Luke’s mother had been ruler of, and he knew the enemy was there.  At Naboo, the capital of Theed had been taken over.  All local Naboo and Gungans were slaughtered, but some were kept prisoner.  When Luke’s team arrived he discovered the prisoners.  Of them were his mother, Shmi, Plo Koon, Yova, Wedge, Kyp Durron, and other Jedi.  Luke began work on trying to set them free, when the enemy appeared before him.

The Sith was old, but showed no signs of it.  He was greatly powerful and had a double-bladed lightsaber.  Each blade was flourescent mix of bright red, blood red, maroon, blue, and black.  With both sides ignited, he was supremely evil.  It took all three Jedi to even fight evenly against the Sith.  He called himself Darth Vengeance.  He spoke ot them as they ofught, telling them of training Palpatine, and how he was immortal.  At one point Luke caught him off guard and cut a swipe with his green lightsaber straight through Vengeance’s neck.  Immediately after the slice the skin melted back over the cut, and Vengeance smiled.  He was immortal, and there was no one who oculd beat him.  Luke, Jacen, and Jaina were killed, along with all the prisoners, and Vengeance rose to become ruler of the galaxy, just like Palpatine.

All Jedi were extinct.  A man named Ray Fathus created a new rule, a new way of using the force, yet not a Jedi, not a Sith.  Ray Fathus was a menace himself.  Everyone feared him.  He lived on one of Endor’s moons, the ice moon, all by himself.  There he taught himself new ways of using the force.  Although, there was only one person he feared.  One person his powers could not overcome.  One person he would dare never face.  That person was Darth Vengeance.
