Qui-Gon Jinn

A great Jedi Knight who worked as Obi-Wan Kenobi's master 40 years prior to A New Hope. Qui-Gon located Anakin Skywalker on Tatooine but was soon struck down by Darth Maul.

Queen Padme Naberrie Amidala

Elected ruler of Naboo, Amidala saved her people and then joined up with the symbiotic gungans. Amidala adapted a romance with Anakin and grew up to be Luke and Leia's mother.

Jar Jar Binks

This clumsy gungan owed a life debt to Qui-Gon, but always seemed to stir up trouble. After bringing the Naboo and Gungans together, he was elected General of the Gungan armys.

Darth Maul

This evil Sith Lord was Darth Sidious' apprentice. Maul killed Qui-Gon Jinn and was then sliced in half by Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Captain Panaka

This was Queen Amidala's security volunteer head. He was one of her bodyguards.

Watto

This junkyard dealer was Anakin Skywalker's owner until he lost him to Qui-Gon in a podracer race.

Mace Windu and Ki-Adi-Mundi

These two were great Jedi who sat on the council. Both were involved in the decision to train Anakin Skywalker.

Supreme Chancellor Valorum

This man was the Supreme head of the Republic. He sat on the main bench in the senate chamber but was surpassed by Palpatine in an election.

Govenor Sio Bibble

He was Naboo's govenor who remained on Naboo while the queen escaped. Bibble was lamost murdered but the Queen returned to save him.

Nute Gunray & Rune Haako

These are the ambassadors for the Trade Federation. They agreed to blockade Naboo's trade routes under the direction of Darth Sidious. They tried ot get Amidala to sign a treaty that would make the blockade legal, but ended up they were tried for an illegal action.

Daultry Dofine & Lott Dod

The former was in control of the Trade Federation battleship, controlling the ground battle. He died when Anakin blew up the battleship. The latter was the Trade Federation senator who denied the federations actions.

Ric Olie

This Veteran Ace Pilot was being held captive until Obi-Wan released him. He then flew the Queen's Nubian transport throughout the film. He was also in the space battle.

Boss Nass

This very obese gungan is the leader of his species who decided to join the Naboo and appoint Jar Jar General.

Sebulba

This podracer pilot is the best in the galaxy. He is a dug and was only beaten by Anakin because he didnt have that little bit of force he needed.

Captain Tarpals

This is the Gungan Captain who worked alongside Jar Jar in the ground battle. Tarpals ended up saving Jar Jar's life.

Admiral Ackbar

Admiral of the New Republic, Ackbar leads his army in space during the Battle of Endor. Native to the water planet of Mon Calamari and good friends with Skywalker.

Wedge Antilles

Experienced pilot and son of General Antilles. Wedge has saved Luke, destroyed two AT-AT's at the Battle of Hoth, and assisted Calrissian in the destruction of the second Death Star.

Ponda Baba & Dr. Evazan

This alien duo started a fight with Luke in the cantina. But with Obi-Wan Kenobi on his side, the dynamic duo quickly fled.

C-3PO

This wity, yet annoying, golden droid partners with Artoo. Nicknamed "Goldenrod" by Solo, C-3PO just can't seem to get on anyone's good side. One things for sure, though. He doesn't like space travel.

R2-D2

This pipy but very cute droid is the little cuty of the group, but after all the jokes, ends up the save rof the day every time. With mroe gadgets, buttons, peeps, and whistles than you can count, Artoo is truly an awesome little guy.

Lando Calrissian

The original owner of the Falcon, Calrissian came back to the group a villian, trading on his friend Solo, but end sup a hero, and saving him form Jabba the Hutt. At the Battle of Endor Calrissian single-handedly destroys the second Death Star, earning him the rank of General.

Chewbacca

This furry guy was truly like by all. Over seven feet tall, 200 years old, and a strong arm, he looks vicious, but Chewbac is really just part of the gang, who really cares for Solo, who saved his life form the Imperial slave workers.

Salacious Crumb

Annoying, not understandable, and stupid, this little creature was Jabba's major domo. Seen only while laughing, and chewing threepio's wires, this guy was a small, but rememberable part of Star Wars.

Figrin D'an (and his band)

Wierd music, wierd instruments, wierd body, but still cool. A band of five men, led by D'an himself, lit up the cantina with festive music from many new instruments. But not only did these guys give us a new song, but an entire new species of musically talented creatures.

Biggs Darklighter

While back on Tatooine Luke's best friend, Biggs left to join the federation. A couple years later, when Luke arrived at the allianc,e he met up with his old friend Biggs for a warm welcome, but Luke couldn't help him when Biggs was destroyed at the Battle of Yavin.

Dengar

A scary bounty hunter, half human, half machine, this guy can run up to forty-five miles per hour. Called on to find the Falcon in episode 5, this bounty hunter lookes old and dull, but he is really one of the finest of them all.

Emperor's Royal Guard

These sleek, shiny, bright red men guard the Emperor carefully, making sure no one gets in unseen, and only depart under direct orders from the Emperor himself.

Boba Fett

The most known, and most liked bounty hunter of them all, Fett, with his rocket pack and nifty weapons, was the only bounty hunter to locate the Falcon and return Han Solo to Jabba the Hutt.

Bib Fortuna

This was Jabba's assistant, and greeter. He was a Twi'lek with two head tails that seemed to like droids. Fortuna dies on Jabba's sail barge.

Zuckuss & 4-LOM

The droid 4-LOM teamed up with Zuckuss while searching for the falcon, but were unlucky. These two bounty hunters, though, opened up a gate for new stroies, books, and movies.

Garindan

This was the Imperial spy who followed Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi through the cantina to the Falcon. A very small part, but with his long snoot and small quivering voice this was a truly rememberable character.

Jabba the Hutt

The evil crime lord. After Han Solo cheated Jabba out of his cash, Jabba had been hot on Solo's tail, and was dleighted win he got Solo's body frozen in carbonite. Running his own circuit of pod races, Jabba is the evil slug villian that can't be fooled.

Obi-Wan "Ben" Kenobi

At first no better than the rest, but after trained by Yoda, Jedi Knight Qui-Gon Jinn, and others, Kenobi rose to a Jedi Knight himself. In his old age he assisted young luke Skywalker, one of the only Jedi's left, to rise and become the last jedi. But if anyone needs anything, just say: "Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope."

Owen and Beru Lars

Claimed to be Luke's aunt and uncle, but really just adoptive parents, these two people have different views on the future of Luke. Owen, knowing Luke's inheritage, tries to prevent him form any entanglement with the force, and Beru, who loves him very much, wants to let me to go out and let destiny take it's own path. The two get burned when looking for Luke, and he never mentiones them again.

Lobot

A robot, a humanoid, or both? This cybernetic, short man was Lando's aide on Bespin. With a touch of a button Lobot would be at Lando's side, with help, yet Lobot never once spoke a word. What happened to Lobot is not known, only the unfolding galaxy of Star Wars will tell.

General Crix Madine

This was the General in charge of the Endor assault during the Battle of Endor. He instructed the theft of the Imperial Shuttle, and prepped Solo and his team on the destruction of the shield generator.

Mon Mothma

She, replacing Queen Amidala, is the supreme highness of the Rebel Alliance. Higher than the Admiral's, Mothma is the one in charge. During the Battle of Endor, she prepped everyone on the placement of the Imperial fleet and the threat from the federation.

Nien Nunb

This Sullustian form the planet Sullust has two upper lips, one that folds up to his nostril. Speaking blabberish, Nunb was very helpful as Lando's co-pilot during the Battle of Endor. Nunb assisted Lando in the communications, moral support, and destruction of the second Death Star.

Oola

Jabba's main dancer, Oola lasted not long when Jabba disliked one of her dance steps. The entire palace watched as the rancor monster below ate up Oola in one desperate chomp.

Senator/Supreme Chancellor/Emperor Palpatine/Darth Sidious

Palpatine was the Naboo Senator. He used Amidala to make him Supreme Chancellor of the Republic. He was also, in secret, Darth Maul's sinister master Darth Sidious. The Mon Mothma of the Imperials, Palpatine used to be the Senator of the Old Republic. After being threatened, the senator joined the federation, and quickly rose to become the Emperor of the Imperial Navy. With extreme dark force powers, the ability to emmit electricity from his fingers, Palpatine was no match for anyone, but his own kind.

The Max Rebo Band

This escatic group of band members were getting down and dirty on the dance floor at Jabba's palace. Whipping up some really quick beats, this pianist, solo singer, flutist, yuzzum, and backup singers really sparkle up Jabba's Palace. Members: Max Rebo, Sy Snootles, Droopy McCool, Yuzzum, Raala, Endigo, Mayfor.

Luke Skywalker

The son of Anakin, Luke was seperated from his parents and sent to live with his adoptive "aunt and uncle." When Luke became an adult, fate struck him. His aunt and uncle were killed, and Kenobi called Luke to come with him. Luke was introduced to the force, and joined the rebellion. Over time, Luke became a Jedi Knight, and after Yoda's death, even a Jedi master. Sister of Leia, Luke led on the remaining jedi's to come forth and destroy the dark side.

Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader

Living with his mother in Mos Espa, Anakin was called away by Obi-Wan Kenobi. Obi-Wan attempted to instruct young Anakin and teach him the force, but destiny pulled him to the Dark side. Anakin become Darth Vader, leader of the Imperial fleet and dark lord of the sith. Vader died as a jedi, though, after his son brought out the good in him to defeat Palpatine and save Luke's life.

"Princess" Leia Organa

Luke's sister, Leia was brought to Alderran, where a nice couple brought her up to be the princess of the Rebel Alliance. When about to be killed, she was saved by Luke and Han, who turned out to be brother and husband. Leia become unseperable with Solo, and quickly learned her fate within the Skywalker family. As Luke told her: "The force runs strong in my family...my sister has it."

Grand Moff Tarkin

This evil crime lord was above Darth Vader. He was in charge of the Imperial federation, and in charge of the Moff's. It was Tarkin's idea for the Death Star, but overestimated it's ability. Tarkin died on the Death Star during the Battle of Yavin.

Wicket W. Warrick

This furry inhabitant of the Endor forest's belonged to the Ewok species. He was a fiest little one, but made friends with Leia and her friends quickly. Though he was small, furry, and cute, Wickett proved to be cunning, courageous, and intelligent.

Yoda

The jedi master himself. Yoda sat in the highest chair during the Old Republic's jedi council. Yoda instructed Mace Windu, Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and even Luke Skywalker. Yoda died at the age of 900, still just as wise, and only two feet tall. Although Yoda oculd be annoying, he was a very enchanting character to watch.

Han Solo

Beginning as an Imperial himself, Solo felt sorry for the wookie slaves, so he freed Chewbacca. Afterwards, he became a pirate and smuggler, and Chewbacca said that because Han saved his life he had to stick around. Because of this, Solo was heistant to join the rebellion. He never spoke of his past, but it was there. After cheating Jabba out of his money, Solo became worth something, and spent much of his life chased around by bounty hunters, until he married Leia and had three children.
